UK Black Pride – Europe’s biggest celebration of African, Asian, Caribbean and Arab LGBT people – will be headlined by a trio of Britain’s best rap, reggae and grime acts.

British Soul legend Omar will be joined by UK dance and funky house star Donae’o and the awesome talent of rapper Amplify Dot. These exciting headliners offer an eclectic mix of experience and talent that will be supported by a bevy of world class DJs, including Bee; Big John; Biggy C; Chillz; Clington; Goodaz; Misty B and Nikki Lucas. Each of them will spin the best Afro-Beats, bashment, chart, dance, disco, funky, jungle, D’nB, R’nB and soca tunes among others.

Elsewhere, D’relle – who has worked with Madonna, Chris Brown and Jessie J – will wow the crowds, while the funky Red & Pink will deliver a fusion of Indie-Punk, electro-Soul and hip hop. Laayie (featuring Icykal) who is the openly gay rapper who won the UK Unsigned Title at the 02 will perform alongside rappers and spoken word artists Ms Sirena & MC Angel who founded ‘Lyrically Challenged’ to unleash the power of their poetry. Meanwhile, the haunting vocals of Claire Louise and Indyanna Sidney, who make up Sister Sidney, will have you begging for me.

Making the most of the massive Ministry of Sound venue, with it’s four distinct zones, state of the art facilities and slick design, UK Black Pride will feature Drag Idol 2012’s gorgeous Asifa Lahore: the sauciest Punjabi girl this side of Istanbul, doing everything ethnic and batty which your Daddy told you was naughty. She will be joined by the diva-licious Alexis Carrington from Trannyshack and Madam Jo Jo’s giving her special tribute to Whitney Houston. There will also be big belly laughs from comedian Roslyn Carty who will perform snippets from her ‘Jesus loves ME and you Roadshow’. Elsewhere, the House of Khanh Dancers will blow you away with their talent and underline why they’re described as a ‘work of art’.
