UK Black Pride x Bleecker: A Partnership Rooted in Community, Creativity and Care

Today, we are delighted to announce a new values-led partnership between UK Black Pride and Bleecker, the much-loved burger brand built on integrity, flavour and a deep belief in doing business with purpose.

This partnership emerged not from a transaction, but from a meeting of minds and missions. When we sat down with Zan, Bleecker’s founder, we found alignment in something powerful: a shared commitment to LGBTQ+ people, to community care, to youth empowerment and to doing things with intention rather than spectacle.

Together, we will be exploring a year-long collaboration that centres creativity, opportunity and community impact, including:

  • “Bring It to the Kitchen Table” a bi-monthly talk series uplifting conversations about displacement, identity, belonging and youth empowerment

  • Paid pathways and training opportunities for LGBTQ+ young people interested in hospitality

  • Community creativity projects, including a burger incubation competition

  • A meaningful presence at UK Black Pride 2026, with support for our volunteers and a dedicated activation space

  • A commitment to learning, accountability and long-term relationship-building, not just moments of visibility

At its heart, this partnership asks a simple question: What happens when a community-powered organisation and an ethically minded business decide to show up for each other and for LGBTQ+ Black and People of Colour with honesty, respect and care?

We believe the answer is something joyful, intentional and transformative.

This collaboration will be rooted in transparency, co-creation and a community-first approach. We will communicate with care, uplift lived experience, and invest in programmes that create genuine impact and opportunity.

We are excited for what this journey will bring and deeply grateful to Zan and the entire Bleecker team for choosing to build something meaningful with us — not for optics, but for purpose.

More updates will follow as the partnership unfolds.
With pride and solidarity,
UK Black Pride
